Our client:

●A large scale conglomerate from China with global presence.

They are expanding their property business and are searching for a Head of HR responsible for India markets.

This position will be based in Singapore with frequent travels to India (when the travel border for COVID-19 situation eases) at the moment with potential relocation plans to be discussed.

Main Responsibilities:

Establish and implement HR efforts that effectively communicate and support the company’s mission and strategic vision.

Develop HR plans and strategies to support the achievement of the overall business operations objectives.

Function as a strategic business advisor to the senior management of each business unit and/or JV regarding key organizational and management issues.

Responsible for leading the end to end HR life cycle for M&A, joint ventures, divestitures and other corporate transactions; including project managing HR due diligence, planning for integration and separations and execution for all M&A transactions and support key investment decisions.

Work with the senior management team to establish a sound plan of management succession that corresponds to the strategy and objectives of the company.

Develop comprehensive strategic recruiting and retention plans to meet the human capital needs of strategic goals.

Develop and implement comprehensive compensation and benefits plans that are competitive and cost-effective.

Provide overall leadership and guidance to the HR function by overseeing talent acquisition, career development, succession planning, retention, training, leadership development, compensation and benefits

Required:

At least a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resources/Business or equivalent

At least 15 years of relevant work experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams, preferably with regional exposure in India and at least 5 years of leadership role

Effectively bilingual in Chinese and English to liaise with Chinese speaking stakeholders (internal and external)

Experience in real estate space in India would have an added advantage

Exposed to M&A and/or JV set-up would possess an added advantage

Strong sense of responsibility with excellent planning, organizational and problem solving skills; Possess positive attitude towards work

Excellent interpersonal skills

Hands-on with an entrepreneur mindset
