Our Client:

●A global real estate investor with assets in major cities across the world.  Due to business needs, they now have a new position for Head of Finance to be based in Shanghai.

Main Responsibilities:

●Oversees the financial management of a portfolio of overseas real estate assets (AUM est. USD16 Bil) including US, UK, India and North Asia

●Participate in company’s annual strategic planning, annual budgeting, and major business, management and investment decisions of the company

●Co-ordinate with Capital Markets for fund raising

●Monitor the achievement of annual profit targets and other business KPIs of the Group’s real estate development groups, asset management platforms/major projects, pre-empts management and provide suggestions on measures to correct deviations;

●Develop an annual capital requirement plan corresponding to business needs

●Leads the financing committee and ensure maximizing of capital efficiency

●In accordance with the financial capital management, works closely with the investment team to improve financing plans for new investment projects, as well as review of the exit plan and provide basis for decision-making by the Board;

●Continuously review and optimize the financial reporting system, including management systems, control procedures, reports etc to ensure management always has prompt and accurate financial numbers to refer to for decision-making

●Work closely with Group tax  on pre-investment and post-investment tax arrangements of global projects and asset management platforms

Required:

●At least a good university degree in accounting finance, candidates with postgraduate qualifications will have a strong advantage

●At least 12-15 years of experience in real estate funds

●Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

●Effectively bilingual in English and Chinese
