●Our client is expanding its footprint in renewable energy in China.  Due to business expansion, they have a new opening for Head of Technical and Business Excellence (Renewable Energy)  to be based in Shanghai:

Job Description:

●Be part of the Global Excellence team

●Develop and drive engineering capabilities & expertise, standards & processes and best practices in construction, project management, O&M and quality assurance to improve operational excellence, enhance safety, reduce cost and support the asset performance and growth for the Group’s energy assets in China, including new and existing projects

●Leads the development of advanced engineering and technological capabilities through targeted research and innovation

●Bring together leading technology, innovative research & development, best practices and commercial initiatives

●Leads change management

●Oversee the development and implementation of initiatives for energy asset design, asset optimisation and asset compliance in China

What you need to know/ have:

●Good University Degree in engineering related disciplines

●Candidates with MBA would have a strong advantage

●About 10-12 years of experience in project management, technical and operational roles in energy industry in China, candidates with experience in wind energy will have a strong advantage

● Good verbal and written communication skills – Mandarin and English

●Microsoft Office skills

●Able to travel where required
