Our client:

●A Real Estate Developer Group headquartered in Singapore with major operations in China.

●They have been successful in developing and managing various large-scale development projects in China and in different parts of the world.

Main Responsibilities:

●Manage and provide legal support to the various business units on a wide variety of real estate projects in China and Singapore

●Provide general counsel and guidance on legal issues and compliance matters in regards to both China and Singapore Law

●Review and draft contracts, agreements and policies in ensuring they are in compliance with all statutory or legal requirements

●Work closely with other stakeholders to identify areas of legal risks and mitigate those risks effectively on all projects and/or matters undertaken.

●Draft and review contracts and deal structures, and participate in contract negotiations

●Work closely and support the Corporate Secretariat Team

●Other adhoc duties as assigned

Required:

●A Bachelor in Law degree (LLB), preferably from China Law degree

●Qualified Lawyer in China and Singapore

●At least 5 years of experience with China and Singapore corporate and company laws particularly in Real Estate

●Experience with multi-jurisdictional transactions/ Healthcare/ Companies Act and Listing Rules would be an advantage

●Effectively bilingual in Chinese and English will be required to liaise with Chinese stakeholders and official documents

●Good comprehension of the internal and external business environment and influences

●Sound judgment and ability to work with tight timelines

●Excellent analytical, drafting and negotiating skills

●High degree of professional ethics and integrity

●Good communications and interpersonal skills
