Professional growth in the built-environment sector increasingly depends on direct exposure to global innovation — not just industry reports, but seeing new technologies, systems, and projects firsthand. That’s the thinking behind the upcoming SGBC-BCA Business Mission to Shanghai and Suzhou, running from 22–28 November 2026, and WiseNet Asia is proud to support the delegation as its appointed travel consultant.
Organised by the Singapore Green Building Council (SGBC) and the Building and Construction Authority (BCA), the mission gives industry professionals a concentrated week of access to some of China’s leading green building and sustainability developments.
A Week of Industry Immersion
Delegates will visit a curated line-up of organisations and project sites across Shanghai and Suzhou, including:
– Sungent Zero Carbon Pavilion
– China Southern Glass (Wujiang)
– Suzhou International Financial Centre
– GoodWe Global HQ
– Surbana (Shanghai) Planning & Design Consultants (SJ Group)
– West Bund Precinct and Building Projects
– Bauma Shanghai Exhibition
– Shanghai Research Institute of Building Science Group (SRIBS)
– Zhangjiang Zhishang, Zhangjiang Gate of Science, and Zhangjiang METAI Hub
Beyond the site visits, the programme includes a welcome networking dinner in Suzhou and discussions alongside site tours, giving delegates the chance to compare notes with counterparts from across the region’s built-environment industry.
