Our Client:

• An established international freight forwarding company with growing presence in Asia.  Due to business expansion needs, they now have a new position as Branch Manager – Based in South Korea.

Main Responsibilities:

• Set up the Group’s branch office in South Korea

• Lead the overall operations for the Group’s branch office in South Korea including P&L and achievement of business plans and targets

• Develop, formulate and implement the strategic planning and annual business plan and budget in accordance with the development strategy of the Group

• Keep abreast of the market environment, periodically evaluate the established goals, plans, and business activities, and make adjustments in a timely manner where necessary

• Responsible for the development and establishment of sales channels, as well as the maintenance of key customer relationships, project operations, and business negotiations

Required:

• At least a Good university degree in international logistics, international trade, supply chain management, etc.;

• More than 8 years of work experience in the freight forwarding and logistics industry, including about 3 years of experience in the same role

• Candidates with prior experience in setting up a freight forwarding company in South Korea will have a strong advantage

• Familiar with the air & sea transportation market

• Good communication skills and good interpersonal relationships

• Maintains good relationships with airline/shipping companies

• Effective communication skills in English

• Candidates who can communicate in Mandarin will have a strong advantage
