Our client:

●A real estate developer in Asia with growing presence in China.  Due to a new residential project, they now have a new position as Head of Building Design – Based in Yangtze River Delta Region.

Main Responsibilities:

●Responsible for all building project design related matters, including design development, advising on design code and practices in China, liaising with external consultants and local authorities, etc.

●Manages project design and design specifications at all stages (feasibility studies, masterplanmomh, conceptualisation, schematic, design development, construction, as-built)

●Provides professional advice to management on various design options and alternatives, materials, fittings, fixtures, etc.

●Provides professional advice on design requirements, codes and practices in China

●Act as the Liaison person to manage external consultants, internal business units, external business partners, local authorities, contractors and suppliers

●Coordinates with onsite project management team to ensure adherence to design

Required:

●Good university degree in building-relating engineering disciplines

●10 years of working experience in the design, real estate or construction industries in China, with at least 3 years in a managerial position

●Good co-ordination, interpersonal and communication skills

●Possesses Certified Builders Licence in China

●Proficiency in English and Chinese languages
